Visitors to Coventry’s Parker Woodland Wildlife Refuge can enjoy fresh maple syrup Saturday as The Audubon Society of Rhode Island serves up a spread of pancakes, muffins and doughnuts, all slathered in fresh maple syrup. After breakfast, participants will learn about the history of maple sugaring, and how they can make syrup in their own backyards. This program is open to those ages 5 and older, and will be offered again at the same time next week. Breakfast seatings will begin every 15 minutes. When: Saturday, March 2, 9 a.m. to noon Where: Audubon Parker Woodland Wildlife Refuge, Maple Valley Road, Coventry Additional Information: Pre-register recommended.
